Job Purpose
The Senior Manager of M-Pesa Product Development & Service Management is responsible for:
- The delivery of M-Pesa roadmap for DRC market, the development of new M-Pesa products,
- The management of M-Pesa services, the integration of third-party partners to deliver new products, the designing of solutions for Corporates and partners,
- The testing of new and existing M-Pesa products and services, the implementation of tariff, fees, commissions, charging of M-Pesa services,
- The support to all internal stakeholders for all matter related to M-Pesa,
- The business configuration and changes into the M-Pesa platform,
- The creation and update of roles and permissions allowing users of different departments to access the M-Pesa platform, the interaction with the group / MPA and other OpCos to bring innovation into the M-Pesa eco-system.
Job Responsibility
The role of Senior Manager M-Pesa Product Development & Service Management will cover the below areas and activities:
- To ensure that the DRC M-Pesa roadmap is delivered as per the strategy of VODACASH;
- To manage the assessment of all initiatives where the involvement of the M-Pesa platform is required;
- To ensure that all new M-Pesa products and services are well documented, tested properly before any implementation into production and commercial launch;
- To manage training of trainers and other departments when required for all new M-Pesa products and services implemented;
- To ensure that all new M-Pesa products and services are delivered by following the processes, procedures and policies in place;
- To write processes, procedures and policies related to M-Pesa products and services;
- To manage testing in the non-production and as, well, into the production platforms for each new M-Pesa product or service;
- To support BILLING & IT and the Network teams by doing non-regression test every time a change is done on M-Pesa system or other systems or the network with impact on M-Pesa;
- To manage resources in charge of business configuration into the M-Pesa platform and deliver new services;
- To manage resources in charge of testing of new and existing M-Pesa products and services;
- To manage business configuration for M-Pesa tariff, fees, commissions, bundles, pricing into the M-Pesa platform for the DRC market;
- To ensure the configuration of CVM initiatives within the M-Pesa system;
- To support the Compliance team with business configuration within the M-Pesa system;
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- IT and solution design background
- Project management background and skills in agile methodology;
- At least 5 years’ experience in new Product development area,
- At least 5 years’ experience in Mobile Money new Product development and Service management area;
- Experience in mobile money platform deployment and migration;
- Experience in mobile money platform administration;
